One Fine Day

I used to live in Safety Harbor FL not far from Clearwater Beach. At the time I was away from my normal home and missing all my friends and family. On the weekend mornings I would walk down to the pier and walk out to the end and feel sorry for myself. The pier came to be associated with sadness for me. A few years later I moved to Clearwater and brought my wife with me. Now it is a joy to take her out on the pier and tell her how much I missed her in the past. Now the pier is associated with happiness.
